Chana

Ingredients:

  1. White gram 200 gram
  2. Tea leaves 1 tbsp
  3. Green chilies 6 finely chopped
  4. Tomatoes 100 gram
  5. Corrinder leaves chopped for garnishing
  6. Ginger cut into very long thin pieces
  7. Tej patta 2-3 leaves.
  8. Salt deji mirach to taste.
  9. Garam masala
  10. Channa masala

Method:

  • Wash and soak the channa over night.
  • Add salt, tea leaves wrapped in muslin choth and taj patta and cook till tender but firm.
  • Remove it from fire,mix all the masalas and sprinkle on cooked channas.
  • Layer tomatoes cubes, green chillies and ginger over the masala.
  • Now heat the oil and pour it over the tomatoes and mix them very gently so that chaana remain firm.
  • Garnish with corrinder leaves.
