I really like the site but I felt that certain people such as India's President Zail Singh and other great Indian's should have been added. I also question whether Jarnail Singh Bindranwale should have been included in the list of great personalities. I could see if it was popular personalities list, but I am critical to whether he would qualify for this list otherwise.
Thank you for the time.

Hi i think that you've done a great job but i'd just like to point out that Baba Budha ji only lived to see 6 Guru's suceed not 8. Guru Hargobind Sahib ji was the last Guru he actually placed the thilk on. As far as my research has taken place I have read that Guru Hargobind ji actually performed the funerals rights when Baba Budha ji left this world. I hope you i didn't offend you but I had to express my concern when I read this in your quiz. Thanks and keep up the good work. Kamalpreet Kaur

Your web page is very good keep up the good work,Guru shall be happy with your good service to the Sikhs and non-Sikhs. I am in the process of designing a web page for the Bhai Amrik Singh Shaheedi Fund whoose details are as follows ; Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh As you are aware the struggle continues for the independent Sikh nation of Khalistan. Thousands of young Sikhs risk their safety in this crucial struggle. Police tyranny claims many victims. Sikhs abroad have a duty to help the families of those who have sacrificed themselves for the Sikh religion. Since 1984, the International Sikh Youth Federation (I.S.Y.F.) has been helping organisations who are struggling to achieve freedom with the support of the Sikh community. Initially, the Federation would honour the families of the martyred at a religious assembly. Then the Federation set up the Bhai Amrik Singh Shaheedi Fund. The I.S.Y.F. has never claimed that it has helped every family in need, but with the help of the Sikh community more families can be reached. At present the Federation sends help to more than 625 families. Each family receives 725 Rs. per month, 15000 Rs. for a girlís wedding, and 5000 Rs. for a boyís wedding. The Federation is only fulfilling a tiny part of the needs of victimised families, and our attempts to help those who have suffered in the struggle for independence urgently need the support of the entire Sikh community. There is no discrimination towards any needy family for any reason, including religious beliefs. We have a duty to recognise and to help those who have been martyred for the sake of the panth, regardless of their affiliation with any particular organisation. We also request that if a member of your family was martyred and the family is in need of help, they should send us detailed information so that we can try to assist them. We must unite to help to raise the young children of martyrsí families -- they are the future of our community and our struggle for Khalistan. How you can help The Fund has three ways in which a helper can give financial assistance. This is to ensure that there is no doubt in the helperís mind that good is being done. 1) The helper may obtain the address of a particular family whom he may help as often as he wishes. 2) The helper may receive bank account details of a family to which he can directly donate by making his own bank draft. 3) Alternatively, the helper may assist the family through the activities of the Federation. The Federation will show the helper the families letters as evidence that the financial assistance is being regularly received. Please send your donations to: S. Amrik Singh P.O. Box 150 Leicester LE5 4DS For more information : Bhai Gurjeet Singh: Tel: (0116) 273 8518 (Home) (0116) 262 4264 (Office) Make your donations to; Bhai Amrik Singh Shaheedi Fund(I.S.Y.F.)U.K. Midland Bank PLC. Sort Code: 40-28-26 Account No. 23061302 Address; Uppingham Road Leicester(U.K.) Guru Panthís Sevadar: Bhai Amrik Singh Shaheedi Fund, (I.S.Y.F.), U.K. Bani Singh Sahib Bhai Jasvir Singh Ji The I. S. Y. F. wishes to help the family of every martyr. May the Sikh congregation receive the Guruís blessings in helping the martyrís families Any suggetions on the design of web page or any other help will be appreciated Gurjeet Singh

Sat Shri Akal Sardarji, Hindus and Sikhs are brothers. Congress is responsible for 1984. Many Goondas and thugs killed my Sikh brothers. Hinduism got a bad name because of these scoundrels. Please don't say Hindus killed Sikhs. Can Hindus forget Guru Arjun Devji? Can Hindus forget Guruji Tegh Bahadurji? Because of the stupid Congress, Hindu-Sikh brotherhood was broken. Let us repair our friendship.

Thank you for this brilliant site. You have done us all proud. We are some 20 million Sikhs of our Gurus who belonged to Punjab and if united under their flag, we shall be a force to reckon with. I think Punjab has more natural resources and intelligent people than France and Germany. That is our destiny to bring all Punjabis under the banner of our NATIVE Lords. May we succeed one day. Finally, what is your plan for Baisakhi next year? Where are the celebrations taking place? Where should the Sikhs go who find it difficult to go to India? Thank you. I look forward to your email.

Dogra brothres and sikh KingdoM: You web site is excellent . I enjoyed reading it. I would like to state(as a keen student of punjab history) the fall of kalsa kingdom is not due to any so called conspiracy of dogras. It was due to failure of sikh leaders to control khalsa army. If fact if Dhyan sing has survied the assasination definetely he should have steared the kingdom and its affirs in a right direction. Mahaja Ranjit singh had great faith and confidence in his ability as well loyality to the throne. SomeSikh scholars have been propagatin this false hood as a coverup for the failure of sikh sardars. We need to understand the history roghtly. Maharaja Ghulab singh saved kashmir and Jummu from Muslim depradation.

Sat Sri Akhal, Sandeep ji... I was very excited to visit your site, "Great Sikh Worriers"(www.fyi.net/~punjab). However, when I read bio on Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Ji, I was greatly disappointed. I found the language and tone of writing to be quite INSULTING. Especially the following to lines of facts: "After spending two years at the Guru's institution, he returned to his village in 1702 A.D. got married and started living there." "General Attal Khan came forward and inflicted a blow on Baba Deep Singh ji which made his neck lean to one side." I think these two line alone are a HUGE insult to Shaheed Baba Deep Singh ji. First of all, Shaheed Baba Deep Singh ji NEVER GOT MARRIED. Second, Baba ji's head was separated from his body during the dual var. Then Shaheed Baba Deep Singh ji carried his head on his left palm and fought. The whole tone of the bio is as if someone is telling a STORY. It is NOT A STORY. It is a SAKHI. We need to tell our proud Sikh History NOT some made up stories. Anyone visiting this is receiving INCORRECT information about our proud rich Sikh history. Please correct this mistake IMMEDIATELY.

Commendable job!!! We have to remember where we came from in order to know where we are going. Its not one of the ways for our "Kaum" to prosper...Its the only way. It scares me to see present day sikh families belittle the importance of our history. Kids are nomore narrated the stories of the great warriors by grandma's and grandpa's for numerous reasons. How can we blame our kids for going clean shaven when they don't know what it means, what it means when we say "Jinhan singhan singhanian dharm heth sis katwaye, khalan lawahian par dharm naheen hariah"......& its often forgotten that the "Kaum"s that have forgotten their history, have been often forgotten without a trace. Deg Teg Fateh.

i think it is wrong for people to cut their hair, smoke, eat beef/halaal and carry out many other attrocities but still call themselves sikhs. Another thing is all those people that have just converted their name to their goat(jart family name) they have forgotten it should just be singh . They are not worthy to be singh's, and it isn't long now before guru ji will come themselves as stated to rid of these people
